One of my goals for 2009, Happy New Years!, was to read a new to me author each month. I'm now reading a new to me author, Hannah Murray. The book title is THE DEVIL AND MS. JOHNSON. This is from Ellora's Cave (EC) and under a (S) Sensuous read. Even half way through this, I'm recommending it. I love the banter between the h/h in this book! It had me smiling often and chuckling out loud at times too. Along with a beautiful sensual romance, there's also a good suspense plot within it, so this book has so much to offer. Usually, one who always reads books in order as they connect, I realized reading this book that another couple is mentioned and found out they too have their own book that comes before this (JANE AND THE SNEAKY DOM). I will be searching for that one, but THE DEVIL AND MS. JOHNSON stands alone and you don't need to read one before the other (they are two separate stories). A government agent, Devon Bannion is burnt out. He just wants to retire and join his best friend and ex-partner Ian in his Chicago security business, but Uncle Sam demands he complete one last job. But what was supposed to be a simple assignment soon goes dangerously awry, and it will take all of Devon's skill and Lacey's ingenuity to get them out alive.
