Hi All! How you all doing? Miss chatting so much! I had surgery and now in PT a few times a week so I was back and forth, but reading LOTS! Now I'm hopefully back regularly posting here weekly. I have one book that I posted below that I'll be reading and reviewing, but there are more and will list next week.
I've read so much in the waiting rooms! I carry along my ebook reader along with a print book so I'm never running out of anything to read while waiting as well as reading whatever suits my mood. That's one big plus about ebook readers, can put many books in there and they are ready for you. Here's a couple of recent reads to recommend:
Perfecting Amanda
by Bonnie Dee a historical western romance! Its available both in ebook and print from Samhain Publishing and I just can't put into words how good it was to read a western historical again! They are hard to come by. This author's voice too was one that so absorbed me into this gripping story of Amanda, a mail order bride, who forged a romance with Travis through their letters and her being intercepted by a gambler pretending to be her mail order husband. I at times cried with this story, you will too. Check her site for her many variety of books here.
This is first in her paranormal series, Eternal Guardians, based on descendants of the twelve gods of Olympus, called Argonauts MARKED hero is Theron, is the leader of the Argonauts and a descendant of Heracles, the greatest hero Meli, sigh, I so loved this book and so can't wait for more of these Argonauts books. By the way, he calls the hero this endearment, meli, which means beloved, which moved me each time he said it.
